Subscription Policy
CodeBuddy offers a suitable solution for everyone. Choose a plan that fits your workflow, from the free edition for everyday tasks to the Pro and Team editions for professional studios and teams.
Subscription Types
Personal Edition Plan

New User Benefits
1. New users receive 250 credits upon registration and login: 250 credits (valid for 14 days) are credited immediately when a new user logs in for the first time.
2. Pro 7-Day Free Trial: Users who have never purchased Pro nor claimed a free trial will receive a 7-day Pro free trial opportunity after binding a credit card and enabling auto-renewal. They can claim 500 credits (valid for 7 days).
Rights Migration and Upgrade for Existing Users (Paid Members Before August 7)
Your historical benefits obtained from participating in various activities will remain valid and are automatically upgraded to the new version's capabilities, requiring no action on your part.
Credits Adjustment: Users who subscribed before August 7, 2026 will retain their current credits quota for the current billing cycle. Starting from the next billing cycle, the quota will be adjusted to 2,000 credits/month.
Price Retention: Pro (monthly/annual) users who enabled auto-renewal before August 7, 2026 retain their subscription price of $9.95/month. After auto-renewal is disabled, the pricing plan is updated to the current latest plan.
Limited-Time Daily Activity Reward Description
The end time of this event will be notified separately. Buddy AI may adjust, suspend, or terminate the event rules based on product operation needs, legal and regulatory requirements, system maintenance, or force majeure. Relevant changes will be announced through the event page, in-site notifications, or other official channels. The specific event content is subject to the actual display on the page.
Participants
1. This event is open to Buddy AI International Site Individual Edition users, including Free and Pro edition users.
2. Team edition and other non-individual edition accounts are not eligible for this event. For specific details, refer to the corresponding page display or product notifications.
3. Users must participate in this event using their own real, valid, and active Buddy AI account.
4. The same user or account can receive the daily activity reward at most once per day.
Active Status Determination
A user is considered active for the day if they initiate at least one valid AI conversation or task through the WorkBuddy or CodeBuddy client within an activity day.
Valid activity generated from any client can be counted.
Conversations or tasks generated from the web client are not counted towards the daily activity determination for this event.
The following behaviors are typically not counted as valid activity:
Merely opening a page or logging into an account without initiating a conversation/task through the WorkBuddy or CodeBuddy client;
Requests that fail to be submitted due to network exceptions, system interception, or account anomalies;
Behaviors generated through abnormal means such as scripts, plug-ins, emulators, or batch registration;
Other behaviors identified by the system as abnormal, fraudulent, or not in line with the event's purpose.

Note:
1. The daily activity reward is an additional points reward and can be stacked with the monthly points benefits of the corresponding edition.
2. The reward amount is determined based on the user's Personal Edition status at the time of their valid daily activity.
3. During the Pro edition 7-day trial period, users who meet the daily activity criteria can earn 50 points/day according to the Pro edition standard.
4. If a user upgrades, downgrades, cancels a subscription, or has a subscription status change within the same event day, the system determines the eligible reward amount based on the actual settlement result. Rewards are not issued repeatedly on the same event day.
5. Daily activity rewards cannot be cashed out, transferred, gifted, or exchanged for cash or other valuables.
Distribution Rules
1. Once a user meets the daily activity criteria, the system automatically calculates the reward, with no manual claim required.
2. The corresponding credits are typically issued to the user's Buddy AI account on the following day. The actual arrival time may be slightly delayed due to system settlement, network latency, or risk control review.
3. After the credits are credited, users can view them in the account backend, points details, or related pages.
4. The scope of use, consumption rules, validity period, and refund implications for credits are subject to the Buddy AI points system rules, subscription terms, and page displays.
Event Restrictions
When a user is in any of the following situations, Buddy AI reserves the right to disqualify them, suspend or reclaim any issued rewards, and take further actions.
1. Participating in the event using false, invalid, or non-personal account information;
2. Using scripts, plug-ins, emulators, API calls, batch registration, or other abnormal means to farm activity or rewards;
3. Exploiting system vulnerabilities, network anomalies, or technical failures to obtain improper benefits;
4. Maliciously creating or controlling multiple accounts to participate in the event;
5. Violating the Buddy AI Terms of Service, subscription rules, points usage rules, or applicable laws and regulations;
6. Other behaviors that undermine the fairness of the event, disrupt its normal operation, or harm the platform's/other users' rights and interests.
Data Collection and Usage
To determine whether users meet the daily activity criteria and to complete reward distribution, Buddy AI may process necessary information such as account status, subscription status, activity logs, task/dialogue submission records, and reward distribution records. This information is used solely for eligibility verification, reward calculation, risk control review, issue troubleshooting, and compliance retention, and is processed in accordance with the Buddy AI Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Disclaimer and Rule Adjustments
1. If a user is unable to participate in the event or experiences a delay in reward distribution due to reasons such as user device issues, network problems, account status, subscription payment status, or third-party service exceptions, Buddy AI will assist with troubleshooting within a reasonable scope but will not be liable for any losses caused by non-platform factors.
2. If the event cannot proceed normally due to system maintenance, service upgrades, security risk control, force majeure, or changes in applicable laws and regulations, Buddy AI reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or terminate this event.
3. Event rules, reward details, participation methods, and distribution timelines are subject to the actual display on the event page. If there is any discrepancy between these rules and the page display, the latest page display and official announcements shall prevail.

After the auto-renewal of a subscription plan is canceled, the plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Credit Top-Ups
Paid users can purchase credits top-up packs at any time during their subscription if they exhaust their monthly credits quota early, ensuring uninterrupted workflow. You can purchase multiple top-up packs. The validity period for each pack is available on the Pricing Details page.
Attention:
Credits top-up packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable.
Purchasing a top-up pack requires an active Pro or Team subscription.
Payment Policy
Only one subscription plan can be active at a time.
Your billing cycle starts on the day of subscription. You can view your subscription history in the codebuddy.aiProfile - Billing History section.
Upgrading Your Plan
When the pricing plan takes effect on August 7, 2026 (UTC+8), direct upgrades during an active subscription period are not yet supported (stay tuned). Existing subscribers who wish to change their plan must cancel within the refund policy and then purchase a new subscription.
Subscription Process
1. Go to the CodeBuddy Pricing page. Ensure you are logged in and that the subscription account matches the account you use in the CodeBuddy IDE.
2. Select your plan and billing cycle (monthly or annual). Supported payment methods: Credit Card / Debit Card / WeChat / Prepaid Card.
3. After a successful subscription, you can view your payment history in the Profile - Billing & Invoices section.
