To help you better understand the media processing billing items of VOD during use, VOD media processing capabilities are deducted and billed through Media Processing Duration, Image Processing, Large Model Video Processing, Large Model Image Processing, Large Model Text Processing, and Large Model Processing Count. That is, the list price converted for a product feature = base unit price of the billing item used for deduction × deduction ratio.

Deduction Description

To provide a better user experience and more favorable pricing, VOD provides a general Media Processing Duration billing item that supports proportional deduction for media processing features. It is used to deduct media processing usage billed by duration.
Note:
The following “converted unit price” is the postpaid converted unit price when “Media Processing Duration” is used. If a prepaid Media Processing Duration package is used, the unit price will be more favorable.

Audio/Video Enhancement

VOD audio/video enhancement is based on high-performance audio/video AI enhancement algorithms and rich business scenario application models, comprehensively improving audio and video quality. It supports distributed real-time video quality enhancement, including video deburring, denoising, color enhancement, detail enhancement, face enhancement, SDR2HDR, and other features. Fees are charged based on the duration after audio/video enhancement, regardless of codec mode. Audio/video enhancement is deducted and billed through Media Processing Duration.
Note:
Audio/video enhancement is implemented based on transcoding. Therefore, when an audio/video enhancement task is initiated, two fees are charged: audio/video enhancement + audio/video transcoding (ordinary transcoding or TSC transcoding).
Video Enhancement Billing Price
VOD video enhancement is billed based on the duration after video enhancement, with charges determined by enhancement type, resolution, and frame rate. It is deducted and billed through Media Processing Duration.

Billing Example
If you purchase a 60-minute Media Processing Duration package, and within the validity period of the duration package, output 30 minutes of ordinary transcoded H.264 (640 × 480) video and perform 10 minutes of video moderation (deduction ratio 1 : 5), the total deduction is 30 + 10 × 5 = 80 minutes of Media Processing Duration. The Media Processing Duration package is used first for deduction. The excess part is 80 - 60 = 20 minutes, which is billed as postpaid Media Processing Duration, namely 20 × 0.003 = 0.06 USD.

Speech Translation

VOD uses AI to recognize speech in video content and generate source-language subtitles. In addition, the Speech Translation feature can translate these source-language subtitles into different languages, helping customers’ videos reach global audiences more effectively.
Billing Price
Subtitle translation usage fees can be deducted against VOD Media Processing Duration. The deduction ratio is as follows: the unit price of VOD Media Processing Duration is 0.003 (USD/minute).

You use 50,000 video screenshots (deduction ratio 1:1) and 10,000 image compression (format conversion) operations (deduction ratio 1:10). The deducted number of images = 50,000 images × 1 + 10,000 images × 10 = 150,000 images. Therefore, postpaid billing is 150,000 (images) / 1,000 × 0.0176 (USD/thousand images) = 2.64 (USD).
