Instance Clone | Tencent Cloud Distributed Cache supports the instance clone feature, which creates a complete new instance based on the current instance. Backup Encryption | To meet the compliance requirements for static data encryption, Distributed Cache supports encrypting backup files. After this feature is enabled, the system uses the AES-256-CBC algorithm combined with an envelope encryption mechanism to complete encryption before backup files are written to storage. Even if backup files are obtained without authorization, they cannot be decrypted and restored without the key. Backup encryption supports two modes: Tencent Cloud-provided keys and user-defined keys (KMS). It can be dynamically enabled or disabled and only takes effect on newly generated backup files after it is enabled. |
