The L4/7 acceleration, web protection, edge function, and other feature modules of EdgeOne global availability zone nodes support recording detailed logs when processing requests for your services. The CLS module collects and aggregates logs from various feature modules, and then provides the logs to users. You can use the log details for troubleshooting, checking the impact of configuration updates, generating monitoring metrics, etc.
Supported Features
Log Analysis (Beta): Log Analysis (Beta) is EdgeOne’s built-in visual log query and analytics capability. It helps you gain quick insights into site traffic trends, security risks, and performance. By delivering EdgeOne logs to Log Analysis with low latency, you can search, analyze, and download logs directly in the console, without configuring external logging services or third-party analytics tools. Log Analysis (Beta) currently supports Layer 7 access logs, including Web security block logs, and managed rule logs. Logs are retained for 31 days by default. The 183-day retention capability is currently in beta. To request access, please contact us. Real-time Log Push: Real-time Log Push delivers request logs to a destination you specify with low latency. You can configure it in the console or by using APIs. Logs are delivered within 5 minutes after a request is initiated, making this feature suitable for time-sensitive scenarios such as real-time troubleshooting and monitoring. The following log types are supported: Layer 7 Access Logs: Record access logs for Layer 7 acceleration domains, including Web security block logs. You can configure filters to push only logs that match specified conditions to the destination.
L4 Proxy Logs: Record access logs for L4 proxy instances. Only requests that have passed protection are logged. Requests blocked by Anti-DDoS are not recorded.
Edge Function Running Logs: Record execution logs generated by edge functions.
Managed Rule Logs: Record requests that match security rules in the L7 Protection - Managed Rules module, regardless of whether the requests are blocked.
Note:
In Real-time Log Push, Site Acceleration logs, Rate Limiting and CC Attack logs, Custom Rules logs, and Bot Management logs are legacy log types. Existing tasks are retained, but new tasks can no longer be created for these log types. Use Layer 7 access logs to collect complete L7 request logs.
Offline Logs: After enabling this feature, you can obtain the download links for log packages via the console or API. Typically, you can obtain the download link for a log package 3 hours after initiating the request, and the log integrity within the package is guaranteed 24 hours later. This feature is suitable for scenarios with low timeliness requirements, such as long-term log retention and periodic reconciliation. Site Acceleration Logs: Records the domain access logs. Only the logs of requests after protection are recorded. Logs of the requests blocked by Anti-DDoS are not recorded.
L4 Proxy Logs: Records the access logs of L4 proxy instances. Only the logs of accesses after protection are recorded. Logs of the accesses blocked by Anti-DDoS are not recorded.

Log Analysis
Log Analysis uses postpaid monthly billing. The unit price varies by the service area configured for the Real-time Log Push task that delivers logs to EdgeOne Log Analysis. For details, see Log Analysis Fees (Postpaid). Real-time Log Push
After accessing EdgeOne, you will obtain the real-time log push feature by default, without any additional charges.
Note that after you configure a real-time log push task, the log delivery destination may also incur charges. For example, after you configure log push to Tencent Cloud CLS, traffic and storage fees may be generated for the Tencent Cloud CLS product. For details, see CLS Billing. Offline Logs
After integration with EdgeOne, the offline log feature is disabled by default and can be used for free once activated.
